This class will provide a broad overview of standard handbuilding techniques, focussing more specifically on slab building and a handful of decorative applications. We will cover the foundations of ceramics including information on clay as a material, the kiln firing process, and the basics of glazing. Please note that the works created in class will require drying time and firing in the kiln.
